• Noel Fielding Plans To Duet With Gary Numan •

Noel Fielding says he hopes to duet with Gary Numan at the forthcoming Mighty Boosh Festival in Kent.

Fielding, who is curating the event alongside co-star Julian Barratt, said that the pair planned to get on stage with Numan during his headline slot.

“I’m going to try and do a duet with Gary. That would be a dream,” Fielding told the Sun. “Julian loves him too and would be well up for it.”

Other acts already confirmed for the event include The Kills, The Charlatans and Peaches.

Stars from the Mighty Boosh are also expected to feature at The Hop Farm, with Naboo scheduled to read festivalgoers palms.

• Vic and Noel show is art-felt •

NOEL FIELDING is once again teaming up with his idol VIC REEVES for a new TV show.

The pair met with C4 bosses last week to agree on the art-themed series – provisionally titled Vic and Noel Go Painting – which will see them calling on celebrities in their homes and doing their portraits.

Vic said: “We’re both art school boys and wanted to do something arty. We want to paint people.”

Vic studied at London’s Sir John Cass art college while Mighty Boosh star Noel did a fine art course at Croydon Art College.

The latest series featured rockers The Horrors.

Fielding said: "We've never played a music festival before."
